Freedom in Recovery

Freedom in Recovery is a recovery program based on spiritual principles from the Bible and the 12-steps used in many other recovery programs like NA or AA. We encourage people who participate in our group to continue to participate in other twelve-step and counseling programs appropriate to their situation. We believe that the things people "do" when they "do" the Twelve Steps are biblical, spiritual disciplines that would be helpful to any person. So this program is effective for many more than just those who have addictions to alcohol or drugs. It is an effective way to deal with and remove any of the barriers that stand between where we are now and where the Lord would like us to be. By applying these disciplines in their everyday life, many have found healing from:
	• Alcoholism & Drug addiction • Co-dependency • Physical & emotional abuse • Sexual addictions • Emotional pain • Difficult or abusive relationships • Post-traumatic stress	• Eating disorders • Need to control • Fear and anxiety • Stress • Rejection • Low self-esteem • Depression	• Feelings of guilt • Inability to trust • Lack of faith • Resentments • Grief • Anger • Other life issues
Although the Freedom in Recovery program is not new, our website is and it is still under construction. Please excuse the dust as we strive to add more information that we use in our programs at Gateway Christian Fellowship, the Mason County Jail, and the Washington Corrections Center. You are not here by mistake today. It is our sincere desire that you give Freedom in Recovery a chance and allow the Lord to bring about the changes in your life that both you and He so desire.
